BZ1 RENOIR'S CODI

BZ1 Renoir's Codi reached ennoblement on January 12, 2005 at the age of 22 months which is believed to be the youngest buck ennobled to date.  Renoir's Codi, owned & bred by Buck & Robin Zimmerman of Bertram, TX, is straight CODI bred - sired by Renoir (son of Tsjaka) and out of a CODI/PCI doe who was a twin to BGR Riley.  At the time of his ennoblement he has 7 Grand Champion and 3 Reserve Grand Champion awards, with his first honor of Reserve Grand Champion at the age of 7 months and Grand Champion at 10 months of age.  His owner, Buck Zimmerman (now deceased), saw great things in this young kid & used him in a flush program when he was only 7 months old which produced the kids that gave him the offspring points - 11 offspring of this buck have hit the show ring and 6 of them have points at this date.  This buck  has good body length, extremely wide top, long hip, long neck with good neck attachment, big bone, thickness, and retains those clean lines that appeal to the wether raiser while keeping the south african breed character, style & thickness.   He is also extremely verile but retains a good disposition.  The level of competition we face today is astounding - as the breeders continue our breeding programs the boer goats throughout the United States continue to improve dramatically.  Having an animal that can consistently compete in today's show environment should make anyone proud, but the true definition of a stud buck becomes evident in the offspring they produce - time will tell if these offspring also have what it takes.  Bucky, this one's for you.
