“Sparky”

Downen Pipeline’s Sparkplug, a.k.a. “Sparky,” was purchased from the Downens as a kid in 2002. Sparky is long, wide and extremely deep with a gorgeous head. He has been ennobled entirely through his offspring, who have been shown in a limited number of shows in the Northeast. One daughter, still under 18 months of age, garnered 65 points in just 5 shows against some 1100 animals. All progeny have been produced exclusively through natural breeding. Since his arrival at Hill Place Farm, Sparky has become well-known as one of the premier herd sires in the Northeast, with sons and daughters producing top quality animals in numerous herds in New York and surrounding states.
