We are Don & Betty Humphrey. In 2004 Don and I started looking for herd stock for out Texas Holdem Boers farm. That year we purchased a doe from Mr. Pelts dispersal sale by the name of EGGS NEFERTITI. Thanks to the breeders John & Jackie Edwards for their vision of breeding two Ennobled Boers: EGGS RYALS MAGNUM and EGGSPENSIVE to produce EGGS NEFERTITI. She was born in 2001 with length, bone and muscle. She was a producing herd doe with the genetics of Ten Top Ennobled Pedigree Champions. She was not born a show doe, but would become a producer of Show Champions. In 2005 EGGS NEFERTITI was flushed to RRD S889 POW! Producing over 20 embryos, but only six recipients gave birth. As a breeder of Boers you know that “It take two to tango” and EGGS NEFERTITI and RRD S889 POW produced a six pack of winners. Four are Grand Champions and Reserve Champions, one first place and one second place. Our farm is blessed to have these kids TX HOLDEM THE POW-ER OF FAITH with 80 points, TX HOLDEM PASS THE BUCK with 65 points, TX HOLDEM ALEXIS LIMITED EDITION with 50 points and TX HOLDEM THE BUCK STOPS HERE with 5 points. We wouldn’t want to be without breeders of great genetics and the honest family members of the ABGA who befriended two people who knew nothing about raising goats. Your knowledge of Boers helped save and bring quality Boers to this farm. You are a part of this Ennoblement for NEFERTITI as we are.
