"Painted Warrior was ennobled January, 2006, just 5 months after his sire, Xtender, was ennobled with ABGA. Both Painted Warrior and Xtender were born on the farm of Jack and Anita Mauldin. This bloodline has proven to consistently produce exceptional offspring when crossed with a wide variety of other bloodlines or line breeding. In a very short time of showing in local shows, Painted Warrior won 14 Grand Champion and 11 Reserve Grand Champion ribbons. He was retired from showing just after turning 2 years old. He is now making his reputation for the consistent quality of the kids he produces. It is getting harder and harder for us to decide which of his kids we will offer for sale because we would like to be able to keep almost all of them. When you hate to sell any of his kids, that is the true sign for us of an outstanding breeding buck. It was nice for Painted Warrior to win at the shows but he will long be remembered for what he produces."
