Gold Strike exhibited his power both inside the show ring and in the
pasture. A highly respected ABGA judge once said that when looking at a
group of kids, you could pick the Gold Strike ones out easily because he put
his stamp on his offspring. His kids were also in the top 5% of weight gain
testing at the ASU Weight Gain Test Center. Gold Strike kids continue to
capture the top spot in show rings across the country. Though deceased, Gold Strike’s impact on the boer goat industry will be seen
and felt for generations to come.
