Ubora, owned by Downen Livestock, Early, TX, is the sire of many Grand Champions and has won his share as well: 1996 West Texas Fair Grand Champion and Supreme Champion Boer Buck; 1997 Texas state Fair Grand Champion AMGA Boer Buck; 1997 ABGA National Reserve Champion Get of Sire, and 1998 ABGA National Grand Champion Get of Sire. Sire of the 1997 and 1999 ABGA National Grand Champion Junior Boer Bucks, Ubora's Champion and K'bora. Numerous Ubora buck kids have been in the top 10% of the ASU-TAMU Performance Tests. Ewing's Valentino, a Ubora son, was the 1997 top indexing buck on test. Ubora's influence will continue to improve the Boer breed for years to come.
