Members of the American Boer Goat Association:

We are excited to announce the appointment of Katherine Klug into the position of Interim Project Manager. We are in uncharted waters with the implementation of both iCompete and our new DNA testing partnership with NeoGen.

Katherine has proven herself within the organization with chairing the 2023 JABGA & ABGA National Show and her time as a member on the Board of Directors. She brings with her a unique set of skills and experience, including business leadership, marketing, and molecular genetics research.

Her first priority is getting iCompete to full working capacity and hiring a new Office Manager. She will also be working with our Board to create a foundation and strategic plan for the American Boer Goat Association that allows us to grow and be sustainable with the exponential growth we see in the meat goat industry.

While we are sad to see her step off of the Board, we have the utmost confidence in her capabilities with a more direct leadership role in moving our association forward to a new era.
