Dalton Vaughn started working for the ABGA in May 2021. He has been in the agriculture industry his whole life. Having raised wethers and Boer goats, he has seen both sides of the industry, including the show side. As a fitter, Dalton was able to look at the quality of the Boer goats across the nation and can help newer members on showing and feeding tips. He has also hauled Boer goats across the country for shows and buyers. While he was hauling, Dalton loved going to different operations across the country and seeing how other people operate their herd. Some of his favorite parts working for the ABGA are being to help new members out when they need it and learning how the record keeping and process works on this side of the industry. He also loves fitting Boer goats for shows and clipping them for pictures and sales. When Dalton is not in the office, he is usually hunting, fishing and playing golf, and depending on the time of year, clipping goats.
