My family's registered and commercial herd, 6R Boer Goats, has provided me with invaluable opportunities within the Boer goat industry. I have been showing livestock for over 10 years, with the last five years dedicated to Boer goats. Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for the breed and a strong appreciation for the livestock industry.
I am honored to be serving my final year on the Junior American Boer Goat Association Board of Directors as your Vice President. I also serve as President of the Junior Iowa Meat Goat Association, where I enjoy creating opportunities for youth to grow as leaders and exhibitors.
I am a senior at Kansas State University pursuing a degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Production Management. My education has provided me with valuable knowledge in animal production, genetics, nutrition, herd management, and leadership that I can apply to the Boer goat industry. As I complete my final year on the JABGA Board, I look forward to continuing to serve our junior members, strengthen our association, and help create meaningful opportunities for the future of the Boer goat industry.
