Born and raised in Oklahoma, Brad Mackey has been rooted in agriculture his entire life. He moved to North Carolina in the early 1990s, where he has built a diverse career in the pork industry.

Today, he leads Mackey Enterprises, a family-run operation that encompasses B-Mack Farms, Mackey Family Farms, and Mackey Family Transport. He and his wife, Janice, have three sons, and together with two of them, they manage the growing family business.

A proud grandparent, Brad enjoys spending time with his six grandchildren. Drawing on goat‑breeding experience since 2001, he is also passionate about supporting youth in Boer showmanship and is honored to serve on the ABGA Board of Directors.
