During the JABGA Junior Board Face-to-Face Meeting in July, the Junior Board passed the JABGA Animal Awards Program!

One of the issues assigned to the ABGA Breed Improvement Committee was the aging of goats and the need for more objective information about whether an animal's reported age is consistent with its weight and stage of development. Following extensive discussion by the committee and Board of Directors, ABGA determined that the best starting point was to collect reliable, breed-specific growth data. That decision led ABGA to weigh every goat in the junior (0-12 month) age divisio

JABGA announces regional speech topics!

This year's National Show featured an impressive 3,441 total entries, showcasing the continued strength and growth of our association.

A Face-to-Face Board meeting will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026 and Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM CST. The meeting will be recorded and made available on the ABGA website within one week following the meeting.
