2024 National Show Junior Photo Contest  

ABGA and JABGA are excited to offer a photo contest for youth members at the 2024 JABGA National Show. The goal of the contest is to highlight talented young individuals in the communications industry through their use of photography.  

One winner from each age division will be chosen. Winners will be announced during the JABGA Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, June 12th.  

1. All contestants must be members of JABGA.

2. Divisions are: Junior (4-12), Senior (13-21).

3. Only two photos per contestant is permitted.

4. All submissions must be printed on an 8”x10” canvas or frame.

5. All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, June 11th at 12pm.

6. All photos must highlight the American Boer Goat. Photos may be taken around the farm or at an event. The American Boer Goat must be the focus of the picture.

7. Photos may not be enhanced or edited, in any way.

8. The Champion Photo in each age division will have the opportunity to be featured in the ABGA Digital Magazine.

9. The Champion Overall Photo will have the choice to sell in the silent auction. If sold in the Silent Auction, funds raised will benefit the JABGA Scholarship Fund.

10. All pictures may be used by the ABGA/ JABGA office for publication and promotions.

2024 National Show Adult Photo Contest 

ABGA will once again offer a photo contest for ABGA members. The winning photo will be calculated by the photo with the highest number of votes. The winning photo will be auctioned off during the awards banquet on June 12th.

1. All contestants must be ABGA members.

2. All submissions must be printed on an 8”x10” canvas or frame.

3. All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, June 11th at 12pm.

4. All photos must highlight the American Boer Goat. Photos may be taken around the farm or at an event. The American Boer Goat must be the focus of the picture.

5. All photos will be on display during the JABGA Awards Ceremony. Attendees will vote on their favorite photo via electronic voting. The photo with the most votes at the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony will be the Champion Overall Photo.

6. The Champion Overall Photo will sell in the silent auction. All raised funds will benefit the JABGA Scholarship Fund.

7. All pictures may be used by the ABGA office for publication and promotions.
